Department of Labour and Advanced Education (LAE) provided funding for PD Conference for Practitioners, PD Fund, Assistive Technology Fund, Adult Learners’ Week and Practitioner Training and Certification Program.

Rural Communities Foundation of Nova Scotia (RCF) contracted LNS to provide administration and communication services. RCF has funded literacy organizations and learning community projects through its granting programs.

Computers for Schools provided computer systems/laptops for community-based learning organizations.

Lions Clubs recognize the importance of literacy and collaborate with organizations to improve literacy in their own communities. Many of the clubs have donated to LNS.
