Registration Policy: Subsidies for registration fees are available for certain individuals or groups attending LNS events. A registration fee will apply to those who do not qualify. Preference will be given to current paid members of Literacy Nova Scotia. Each event may have different criteria regarding eligibility of registration subsidies and is at the discretion of the event funder.

Travel Policy: Travel subsidies may be available. Some restrictions apply. Participants are encouraged to car pool. Reimbursement of salary is not available. Expense claims will be available at the workshop and must be submitted within 30 days for reimbursement, including original receipts if applicable. Expense claims not requiring receipts may be emailed with an electronic signature to the LNS.

Cancellation Policy: Participants must cancel no later than five days prior to the workshop if they do not intend to come. Consideration will be made for emergencies. Participants who do not cancel or explain their absences will be charged for expenses incurred by LNS and an administration fee.
